With breathtaking panoramic views in all seasons - to historic Castle Stalker, the islands of Lismore and Shuna, the Morvern Hills and the magnificent peaks of Ben Nevis and Glencoe - this location is unique, offering some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland.
Our intimate twelve bedroom hotel, bar and award-winning Seafood Restaurant has won a reputation as one of Argyll’s most idyllic and romantic destinations. We strive to offer our guests something different - quality service, a personal and relaxed family atmosphere, stunning location and award-winning food.
Our renowned restaurant seats 60 people and has magnificent panoramic views overlooking Loch Linnhe. We use only the finest fresh locally sourced and game. Lobster and prawns are caught within the local waters of Loch Linnhe and the Sound of Mull. Fresh oysters and mussels are gathered from the nearby island of Lismore and venison is sourced from local estates. Add to this our unique ambience, candlelight, a bottle of wine from our extensive wine list and the relaxed atmosphere, and you have the most memorable of evenings.
With a private beach, woodland and coastal walks, and an exciting range of outdoor adventures and experiences to suit all interests - including boat trips, sea-kayaking, mountain biking, fishing, horseriding, wildlife photography, 4x4 Wildlife Safaris, and stalking - guests can also watch the ever-changing light and dramatic scenery from the terrace that leads directly onto the shore, or with the comfort of our log fires and warm welcome inside.
We have 10 private moorings available for guests, making it an ideal location for all yachtsmen – whether under power or sail – exploring this beautiful stretch of water and wishing to break their journey with a truly memorable place to eat and stay. Our moorings are situated at the South of the Pier and are available April to October. Please check availability of moorings on +44 (0) 1631 730302 before your arrival.
Tea and coffee are available from 8.00am. Lunch and dinner is offered seven days a week, with the choice of a Bar and Childrens Menus or A La Carte.Picnic boxes can also be arranged for guests for lunch or dinner.
The Pierhouse is open daily from 8.00am until late (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day).
