Walkabout Scotland offer guided walking holidays and hiking tours from Edinburgh throughout the Scottish Highlands. With daily hillwalking tours, weekend breaks and week long holidays to a variety of stunning mountain locations, we hope our fondness and enthusiasm for the outdoors will leave you with many inspiring memories of the Scottish Highlands.

All our tours are led by qualified guides and are within the capabilities of moderately fit people - no specific hillwalking experience is necessary. Our small groups have a social and relaxed, international atmosphere. We also arrange corporate tours and tailor-made packages for larger groups.

Our Location:

All our tours depart from Edinburgh and we visit a wide variety of mountains and fine walking areas throughout Scotland. Day tours to the Southern Highlands, longer walking holidays to the far north-west and the islands. We also pick up from other locations by arrangement.

You have a choice of accommodation on each of our holidays - from personally selected local guest houses and hotels to simpler but well placed hostels.
